One of the largest Champagne bars in the Southeast!

If you love sparkling wine, Pop Alleigh, in Roswell, GA, is a must in your travel plans this year!
I'm traveling the country, sharing reviews of the best wine bars. Reviews are based on overall experience of wine and food selection, staff knowledge, and atmosphere. Pop Alleigh is highly rated on my list based on all categories, but particularly from the aspect of it's very unique, creative experience.
Wine
- Number of offerings: over 20 sparkling wines by the glass; and close to 200 bottles!
- Geographical variety of offerings: Fabulous variety with bottles offered from France, Italy, Spain, Greece, South Africa, Argentina and U.S.
- Price: Reasonably priced bottles are available, but be prepared to spend $$ for premier selections.
- Other: Several flights are available for sparkling side-by-side tastings which is the best, and most fun way to learn about wine. Note: A few selections of beer and still wine are also available for your extended party of non-sparkling drinkers.
Food
- Appetizers only; perfect sparkling wine pairings to caviar, finely curated charcuterie boards, Marcona Almonds, and chocolate truffles.
Staff Knowledge
Founded by Al Anderson and Leigh Braglia, they traveled the world, researching sparkling wines, to provide the best selection and experience for their guests.
Space
Pop Alleigh is a beautiful, luxurious space with cool lighting and vibrant colors; walls lined with champagne bottles, Thomas Arvid paintings, and glass artwork.
Vibe
Opening in late afternoon, Pop Alleigh is a fabulous start to the evening with a quiet glass of champagne before dinner. As the evening progresses, this place starts "Pop"ing with more people and music (calendar includes DJs and live music).
Bonus Points
Nice touch providing each table a free bowl of potato chips, the best sparkling wine food pairing.
In all my travels, I've never seen this many selections of sparkling wines in such a beautiful space and fun atmosphere. A must experience.
Please share your thoughts on your personal wine bar experiences. What are your favorites?
Cheers!
